Narrative description of Project:

The purpose of this activity is to support the Government of Armenia in building more responsive, transparent and effective public financial management institutions, processes, and systems for the implementation of its reform agenda. The project has two primary objectives: 

  • Improving the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs’ capacity to implement program budget through strengthening the planning and execution systems and processes.

  • Strengthening the National Assembly Budget Office’s capabilities to provide budgetary technical support to Standing Committees and parliamentarians.
